I am obviously not in your group. However, since my group (4) will be following whichever way in which you guys portray Othello, I have a vested intrest in how you go about doing that. However you all choose to portray Othello, I recommend that you make sure to take into consideration his militaristic sense of duty. That would certainly help with my group's part.
Since Othello, as a character, seems to represent duty and cowboys represent lawless freedom, effectively making Othello a cowboy sounds challenging. One idea would be to MAKE HIM THE SHERIFF. However, it is entirely your decision.

Hey when are we meeting tomorrow? We need to figure that out pretty soon. Also leave your phone number if you see this.
